Description

2022 marks the 160th Anniversary of the first full year of the American Civil War.  The first two months of 1862 were a trying time for President Abraham Lincoln.  Join park staff at 1PM on Monday, February 21 for a program on Lincoln in early 1862.  Participants will be invited to listen to and read excerpts from Washington's Farewell Adress, which Lincoln called for the country to do in 1862 to honor Washington's Birthday.
