Description
Join Park Rangers on Memorial Day for special tours of Castle Clinton focusing on the history of the 15-Star Flag, also known as the Star Spangled Banner.
The 15-Star Flag was the official flag of the United States between 1794 and 1818, and was the flag that the US flew during the War of 1812. The most famous 15-Star Flag is the “Star Spangled Banner,” whose story inspired the nation’s National Anthem.
