Description

Volunteer to help the park remove invasive ligustrum and Chinese tallow at the Settlement Restoration Project from 9AM - 12PM on Tuesday October 29th. All volunteers will receive a one-day free entrance pass to any public land area!

No prior experience is needed, just a desire to spend time outside, make a difference in the native landscape, and maybe even learn something new! Tools will be provided, please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

Directions: Parking is available at the Visitor Center of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park in Johnson City. Follow the brown trail signs west down the sidewalk to the Settlement Trail. When you cross over the small bridge you will find a table where you can sign up as a volunteer.  We hope to see you there!
