Carroll Homestead Open House

When John and Rachel Carroll moved into their farm house in the fall of 1825 they could not have imagined that it would one day be preserved as an historic resource in Acadia National Park. Almost 200 years later, their house still stands. Join us during program hours to hear stories about the Carroll family and learn some of the games that the Carroll kids played on this 1800’s farm. The Homestead is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible portable toilet onsite. Visitors are allowed to enter the homestead in small groups.
