National Lighthouse Day at Fort Pulaski!
National Lighthouse Day is a great day to visit Fort Pulaski National Monument and hike the Lighthouse Overlook Trail, a 1.5 mile out-and-back sand trail that provides visitors with views of Cockspur Island's salt marsh, the Savannah River, and the Cockspur Island Lighthouse.

Location
The Lighthouse Overlook Trail can be accessed from either the North Pier Trail or the Moat Walk Trail at Fort Pulaski National Monument. For more information and directions, stop at the Fort Pulaski National Monument Visitor Center (101 Fort Pulaski Road, Savannah GA 31410) or call 912-219-4233.
