Description
Join the Death Valley Natural History Association and US Fish and Wildlife Service at Desert National Wildlife Refuge for a Walk for the Wild 5k challenge. Join rangers, volunteers, and subject matter experts at the Corn Creek Visitor Center on Saturday, October 12, for guided walks at 8 AM, 10 AM, or 12 PM PD.
Tule Springs Fossil Beds Park Ranger will lead this hike:
October 12, 10am: Historic People and Creatures of Corn Creek
Guided Walks on Saturday, October 12th: Check-in outside the Corn Creek Visitor Center and come prepared with sturdy, closed-toe shoes, water, snacks, and sun protection. Subject matter experts will lead 1.5 hr nature walks through the morning and early afternoon to share more about the wildlife, history, and significance of Desert National Wildlife Refuge. This walk will be the Historic People and Creatures of Corn Creek.More information
