BLACK POWDER DEMONSTRATION DAY
July 29, 2023 Monroe, Michigan – The River Raisin National Battlefield Park will be hosting the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield’s Black Powder Living History Program on Saturday, August 20, 2022, running from 10am until 3pm.
Experience history come to life as you walk through the 1812 encampment and see soldiers training with and firing black powder muskets and cannons.
The event is free and will take place on the grounds of the New Visitor Center, 333 North Dixie Highway, Monroe, MI 48162.
