Interested in Cockspur Island's connections to Georgia's colonial history? Dr. Greg Brooking, author of From Empire to Revolution: Sir James Wright and the Price of Loyalty in Georgia will present a program exploring the American Revolution in Georgia on Friday October 9, 2026.
This public program will take place in the Fort Pulaski National Monument Visitor Center at 11:00 a.m. Brooking is an educator, author, and historian with over 30 years of teaching experience.
