Join us at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site on Tuesday, June 4th, at 11:30 am for a remarkable D-Day celebration featuring the Virginia Army National Guard's 29th Infantry Division Band. 

The 29th Infantry Division Band, based in Troutville, Virginia, has a storied history dating back to March 1922. Originally formed as the Band Section, Service Company, 116th Infantry, this unit became an integral part of the "Blue and Gray" 29th Division during World War II. They participated in the historic D-Day assault on Omaha Beach, earning the prestigious French Croix de Guerre with Palm, among other honors.

The event will take place on the tarmac between Hangar 1 and Hangar 2 at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
