Description

Join members of the Pennsylvania Lenape Nation as they stop at PEEC along their Rising Nations River Journey from Hancock, NY to Cape May, NJ. This special journey commemorates the historic signing of the Treaty of Renewed Friendship, which celebrates the rich history of the Lenape people, as well as the renewed commitment to preserve the language and tribal customs for future generations. Guests are invited to spend an evening around the campfire with tribe members for storytelling and drumming demonstrations. Guests will also be invited to sign the 2022 Treaty of Renewed Friendship.
