Friday, May 9 | The Wonders of Dark Skies - Astrophotography, Astronomy, Light Pollution and Prevention
Presented By: Jeremy Evans, Nature Photographer/Filmmaker/Sierra Club Outings Leader
This program covers light pollution and prevention followed by a night sky tour using basic photography equipment and deep sky telescope imaging. Showcasing images and videos from Yosemite, Death Valley, Yellowstone, Sequoia, and more, see the Milky Way, lunar rainbows, meteor showers, distant galaxies, comets, nebulas, and eclipses. Come learn more about light pollution & prevention, night photography, and astronomy, or simply enjoy the slideshow. Notice: this is an indoor Keynote presentation.

Friday, May 30 | John Muir’s Grand Yosemite
Presented By: Mike Wurtz, Curator of Muir's archival collections at the University of the Pacific
Nineteenth-century naturalist John Muir made hundreds of drawings of Yosemite between 1869 and his death in 1914. Find out where Muir drew them and hear some stories about him and Yosemite from the Muir drawings guidebook author and curator of Muir’s largest archival collection.

Saturday, May 31 | Becoming Treewise and Sequoical: John Muir and the Giant Sequoia
Presented By: Mike Wurtz, Curator of Muir's archival collections at the University of the Pacific
Naturalist John Muir may have come to California in 1868 to see the Giant Sequoia - the most massive trees in the world. At first, he reveled among the groves, then he studied them scientifically, and lastly, he fought to preserve "the noblest of the noble race.”
