Description
Sleeping Bear Dunes is full of fun and games! Join park rangers in Glen Haven to participate in fun activities focused on lakeshore animals and how they endure the tough Michigan winters. Imagine yourself as one of these animals - would you be able to survive?
Join park rangers between 1 pm and 3 pm at the Glen Haven Cannery parking lot to join in the fun! Preregistration is NOT required.
This trail is closed to pets from December 1 through March 31.
Important:
Programs may be cancelled or the location may change due to snow conditions or winter temperatures.
The decision to cancel or change the location is made two hours in advance. Please call 231-326-4700, ext. 5005, for a voicemail message with the final details.
Programs should be assumed cancelled if Leelanau County or Benzie County are under a "Winter Storm Warning" issued by the National Weather Service.
