Meet a Ranger at Pratt Cabin

Meet a Ranger at a designated spot along the McKittrick Canyon Trail. 

The Ranger will be stationed at Pratt Cabin from 10am - 12pm giving small programs to families as they walk up and enjoy the scenery. The ranger will also be there to answer any wilderness questions you may have. 

The hike to Pratt Cabin is 4.8 miles, that generally takes hikers 2-3 hours to complete. Please wear appropriate hiking clothes and footwear. The trail is considered easy-moderate,and relatively flat. 

Immerse yourself in the experience of the Guadalupe Mountains 

Fees

The entrance fee to the park is $10 per person, 16 and over.

Schedule

A ranger will be stationed at Pratt Cabin along the McKittrick Canyon Trail for a two hour block.
