The Ranger will be stationed at Smith Springs (the furthest spring along the Smith Springs Loop Trail) from 10am - 12pm giving small programs to families as they walk up. The ranger will also be there to answer any wilderness questions you may have.

The Smith Springs Loop is a 2.3 mile hike, that generally takes hikers 1.5-2 hours to complete. Please wear appropriate hiking clothes and footwear. The trail is considered easy-moderate, relatively flat with only 400 ft of elevation change in one area.
