Join Diné artist Janet Yazzie at Walnut Canyon National Monument from Friday, April 12th - Sunday, April 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Janet was born and raised on the Navajo Nation. Originally from Lower Greasewood, she currently resides in Flagstaff, AZ. Her clans are Kinłichii’nii (Red House) and Ma’iideeshgiizhnii (Coyotepass). Janet is known for her paintings of contemporary scenery, night skies, Navajo tradition, and much more. Using bright color palettes on her canvas, her artwork is inspired by the life and beauty around us. She is passionate about sharing and inspiring others with her art. Ahéheé!
