Description

Walk the Anza Trail under the moonlight!

R.E.A.C.H. San Benito Parks Foundation and BenitoLink are collaborating again on the second annual Moonlight Walk on the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail in San Juan Bautista CA.

We recommend arriving early to start your walk up the hill, arriving near the second bench (about 2 miles) as the moon rises and the sun sets.

Reminder!  Wear warm layers of clothing, please use red light flashlights, and bring your water bottle!

R.E.A.C.H. members will station themselves along the trail to give assistance with water, snacks and emergency Band-Aids.

Practice Leave-no-Trace ethics, and respect the neighboring land owners and livestock.

This is a moderately trafficked out and back trail located near San Juan Bautista, California that features beautiful seasonal wild flowers and stunning views of rolling hills. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
