Description

On the morning of June 27^th, 1864, three brigades of U.S soldiers made a fateful charge against the Confederate entrenchments at Pigeon Hill. One of the regiments involved in this attack were the 8^th Missouri, U.S Infantry. On Saturday and Sunday, a living history group will be portraying the 8^th MO to tell their story and demonstrate the tactics used by the unit that day. Demonstrations will be in the front field of the Visitor Center.
