Contraband Commemoration Living History Tours

Living Historians will explore the legacy of events surrounding the "Contraband Decision" of 1861, the beginning of the end of slavery in the US. Join us to commemorate the 163rd anniversary of this landmark decision and the impact on the development of the United States.    

Tours begin every 30 minutes, starting from 11 am to 1 pm
Assemble at the East Gate to Fort Monroe near Outlook Beach
