Description

Join us for a campfire and live owl program at the Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center lodge! Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River and their nocturnal habits. There will be a live owl program presented by Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalists. Discover new facts about these fascinating native residents of our local national park and enjoy a photo op with our feathered friends!

Join us and enjoy the ambiance and beauty of twilight on the Chattahoochee! After the program you are invited to join us on a short walk on the Three Forks Loop Trail.

Note: This is an outdoor, evening program. Please dress accordingly with extra layers!

Facilities: Located in the Center's lodge. Parking is limited; please carpool.

Difficulty: Easy level walking

Bring: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Dress in layers so that you can adjust to changes in the temperature and activity level. Bring water and you might include snacks. You are also welcome to bring your own marshmallows to roast (roasting forks are provided).
