Volunteer check-in will begin by 8:30am, and the event kickoff is at 9am.
Description
National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands. Invite family and friends for some quality time over a service project at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Individuals and groups are encouraged to pre-register, and there will be limited space for walk-ons. A safety briefing for ALL volunteers will be held at 9:00am, followed by the service projects.
Please note: This is a rain or shine event. However, all pre-registered volunteers would be notified the day before in the event of a cancellation due to DANGEROUS weather (e.g., excessive heat/cold or wind, thunder or lightning).
