Snowshoe Walk: Explore the Forest in Winter (Badger Pass)

When Badger Pass is open, join a park ranger or volunteer for a 2-hour snowshoe tour of the winter landscape! Meet at the Badger Pass Ranger Station (A-frame cabin.) Snowshoes provided; space is limited, based on snowshoe availability. Bring warm clothing.

Expect a moderately-strenuous experience. Recommended for kids 10 and up.

Program hosted by the National Park Service.

This program is free; snowshoes are included.

Location

Badger Pass Ski Area is located about one hour from Yosemite Valley. From the Valley, drive south on Wawona Road. Follow signs to turn left onto Badger Pass Road. The road ends at Badger Pass Ski Area. The ranger station is located near the ski lifts.
