Join Kalindah Laveaux for a talk about the history and culture of Voodoo with a music performance that demonstrates ceremonial songs, dances, drum rhythms, and gestures. This program is part of a series Kalindah has developed around the city, to educate and perpetuate the true history and culture of Louisiana Voodoo through a series of musical performances, demonstrations, workshops, talks, ceremonies, and art installations. This time of year is the Voodoo New Year, so Kalindah will also delve into the significance of this time of year.
