STEM DAY 2026

Join us for STEM Day at Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT. This special event celebrates the donation of a remote-controlled P-51 Mustang model aircraft and will feature hands-on STEM activities focused on aerodynamics, force and motion, aircraft design, and engineering principles.
Programming will also highlight the historic flight training conducted at Moton Field during World War II. Living history interpretations of the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II will be presented to enhance students’ understanding.
The event is open to K–12 students, educators, families, and the public. Schools planning to bring groups of 10 or more are required to make a reservation in advance.
