At 2 PM, author and historian David Nasaw explores the story of Joseph Kennedy, the patriarch of the Kennedy family political dynasty. Dr. Nasaw, the Arthur M Schlesinger, Jr. Professor of History at the Graduate Center of The City University of New York, is the author of the widely acclaimed “The Patriarch: The Remarkable Life and Turbulent Times of Joseph P. Kennedy,” a 2013 Pulitzer Prize Finalist in Biography. Professor Nasaw is also author of acclaimed biographies of Andrew Carnegie and William Randolph Hearst. Dr. Nasaw’s talk marks the 15th annual Aronson Memorial Lecture, named for a devoted volunteer at St. Paul’s in the 1980s and 90s.
