Forest Frolic | Parkway Visitor Center (MP 266)
Looking at a forest, what do you see? There’s more than meets the eye than just trees! Who are the forest’s garbage collectors? Who controls its thermostat? And what’s for dinner out there? Join a National Park Ranger on a quest to discover the hidden systems that keep a forest running and learn how to explore in a whole new way!
This hike is 0.53 miles long on a paved trail with some rough and uneven spots. Bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle. Approx. 1 hour.
