Meet the People Behind the Parks!

Since 1916, the National Park Service has been entrusted with the care of our national parks. From mountains and forests to beaches and birthplaces, sites have been preserved in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. Have you ever wondered how many different kinds of jobs there are in these special places, including George Washington’s birthplace?
