Description

Edison's Kinetoscopes Reimagined! Join us for a day of film making and reflection with the help of the MONO NO AWARE film-positive community organization from Brooklyn. Working inside the full-scale replica of Edison's film studio the "Black Maria", visitors can participate in one of two workshops led by the MONO team. Together we'll gain a greater understanding of film-making and even the chance to be captured on film by the crew during a live shoot. The film will then be developed and projected at the park that same day, so everyone can get a chance to see the results. Sessions are limited in the number of active participants, and we can only accomodate park guests in the workshops.
