Special Event
Celebrate National Park Week and Jr. Ranger Day at the new Horse Stables and Education Center on the National Mall. Drop in to join the National Mall Jr Ranger Explorer program, receive your Jr Ranger badge, and get a horse stable stamp. During your visit, you will also learn about the horses and the history of the Mounted Patrol on the Mall.
Jr. Ranger pop-up activities include:
-Meet/greet with the Mounted Patrol and their horses (depending on availability and call of duty)
-Pet a horse and take a selfie
-Color the park logo
-Make a ranger hat
-Sign the Jr. Ranger Graffiti Wall
-Be a National Mall Jr. Ranger Explorer
