Description

Recognizing Black History Month, Dr. Mark Christian, a Professor at Lehman College of The City University of New York, explores themes from his recently published book "Booker T. Washington: A Life in American History,"  about the controversial founder of the Tuskegee Institute.

Professor Christian's book has been included on the prestigious, and highly respected Outstanding References Sources List, an annual list selected by experts of the Collection Development and Evaluation Section (CODES) of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), of the American Library Association.  

This will be presented as a hybrid event, with a limited live audience, and also livestreamed through shared platform.  Reservations are required for both options, through the Contact Us e mail in this calendar entry.
