National Trails Day Hike: Saddle Rock Trail

Join park ranger Eric Grunwald for a fun hike down the popular Saddle Rock Trail. Along the way ranger Grunwald will point out geologic features and talk about the history of the trail. Participants of all ages are permitted. However, participants must be prepared to walk 1.6 miles and descend 435 feet on an uneven, paved trail. Please register, beinning May 20th, by calling 308-436-9700.

Meet at the Scotts Bluff National Monument visitor center. The visitor center is located at 190276 Old Oregon Trail in Gering, Nebraska.
