Description

A Midsummer Yosemite’s Dream

Fri, April 26 @ 5 pm
Sat, April 27 @ 12 pm & 5 pm
Sun, April 28 @ 12 pm
at the Curry Village Amphitheater

Shakespeare in Yosemite returns for its 7th season of fun, free, musical shows.

This year’s A Midsummer Yosemite’s Dream is especially adapted for the park and inspired by a discovery in the Yosemite archives that the famous director Max Reinhardt declined an invitation to stage Dream in front of Yosemite Falls in 1934.

Ninety years later, 1930s fairies collide with 2024 Rangers and tourists in a show full of humor,
heart, and ecology.

Shakespeare in Yosemite is a collaboration between University of California Merced, Yosemite
Hospitality, and the National Park Service.
