Join a ranger in exploring the sky at Cedar Breaks National Monument. Programs will be held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night at 9 PM and 10 PM and will vary based on the phase of the moon. After each program an informal tour of the constellations will be given followed by an opportunity to look at the night sky through telescopes guided by park staff and volunteers. Programs are for visitors of all ages.

Programs begin at the North View Overlook. Programs may be cancelled due to lightning in the area or staff shortages. Please speak with a ranger at the Information Center or North View Fee Booth about daily program offerings.

There is limited seating at the North View Overlook, visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs if they plan to stay for an extended period of time. Temperatures can be very cold at night even during summer months. Visitors should be prepared for freezing temperatures. Please drink plenty of water.
