Description

Join a ranger or intern in exploring the geologic wonder of the Cedar Breaks Amphitheater. Programs explore the wide variety of park resources from rock formations to human experiences as they related to the geologic forces that formed this incredible place. Programs are for visitors of all ages.

Programs begin at the North View Overlook and are offered daily. Programs are conducted rain or shine, but may be cancelled due to lightning in the area or staff shortages. Please speak with a ranger at the Information Center or North View Overlook Fee Booth about daily program offerings.

There is limited seating at the North View Overlook. While temperatures are cool at high elevation, the affects of high elevation may not be immediately apparent. Please drink plenty of water and wear sun protection, the UV Index at the park in the summer is regularly in the "Extreme" category.
