The park has registered with International Observe the Moon Night for September 14, 2024. To celebrate and observe the moon night, Capulin Volcano is hosting a variety of activities on this day. If you are in the area and you want to help us observe the moon night, come out to the park between 10 AM and 2 PM and enjoy coloring activities such as explain the phases of the moon and label the Sun. There will be a moon observation journal, crater simulation, solar telescopes, and observing the moon. Weather dependent.
