The Down on Their Luck Orchestra brings together National Park Service rangers with local musicians to perform traditional New Orleans jazz, blues, gospel, and original compositions.
Kreyol Karavan is a journey through Ka rhythms, jazz standards, blues, and spiritual songs. Even more than that, Kreyol Karavan is the intersection between our creole languages (Creole from Guadeloupe, Creole from Martinique, Haitian Creole, and South Louisiana Creole). For a few minutes, we will blend, find shared sounds, explore new colors.
Alexey Martí was born in Havana, Cuba. Alexey started to play congas when he was seven years old, inspired by the Afro-Cuban religious ceremonies celebrated in his grandparents’ house. More at: Home - Alexey Marti
