Description
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (National Park Service), among other partners, are co-sponsoring a four day fishing event at various locations along the Mississippi River in the greater Minneapolis/Saint Paul area.
Join MDNR, NPS staff, and volunteers on the river to learn about fish and fishing. All tackle, including rod/reel combinations, and bait will be provided. The fish that we catch at Lake Rebecca are typically bluegills and perch with some largemouth bass. A northern pike is a possibility.
Fishing license requirements are waived for this event.
This particular program is located at the Lake Rebecca Park in Hastings, Minnesota. Parking is available at the park and we'll meet at either of the two fishing piers.
