This is a come-and-go program.
Description
Cannons were integral to the battle at Wilson’s Creek and now serve as a symbol and reminder of the brutal nature of the Civil War. Join Ranger Bill on Bloody Hill to discuss the importance of artillery during the battle. Learn what it took to fire and maintain these weapons in the field. Hear some stories of cannoneers and what they went through during the battle. This is a come and go program.
