Description
Due to the predicted rainy weather, and with the Sylvan Theatre an outside and exposed venue, tonight's program has been cancelled.
Tuesday, August 30, starting at 9 p.m., Sylvan Theatre
Join Ranger Steve for a ranger program under the stars at the Sylvan Theatre right next to the Washington Monument.
Discover the surprising, tragic, and ultimately inspirational story of Ford's Theatre, the site of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln in April, 1865.
The program is free and no reservations are needed- just bring your curiosity and find a patch of lawn in front of the stage. The program starts at 9 p.m. and will be about an hour, including an opportunity to ask Ranger Steve questions about Ford's Theatre, President Lincoln, or Civil War Washington.
