"The Book Stops Here" Community Reading and Discussion Group
Registration encouraged.
This monthly reading and discussion group is a partnership between the National Park Service and Mid Continent Public Library, and is entering its sixth year. It is dedicated to the memory of President Harry S Truman, who enjoyed reading biographies and histories of his predecessors and American history.
A different book is chosen each month, leading to wonderful discussions!
September's book: Betty Ford by Lisa McCubbin
October's book: And There was Light by Jon Meacham
November's book: The Trials of Harry S Truman by Jeffrey Frank
