Description

94 years after the original dedication of Dry Falls as a State Park ‘Floodfest 2022’ is planned for July 23, 2022 at the Dry Falls Visitor Center campus. The plan is to have booths & tables set up outside during the day, 11am – 3pm, with the various Federal, State and Private organizations that help tell the story of the Ice Age Floods, Geology, Wildlife, and History. ALL the cool/hot activities & booth/tables will be outside.

8:30pm -10pm:  Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park amphitheater.  The evening event will consist of movies about the Ice Age Floods and short programs from a possible ‘professorial’ person, and an Interpretive Ranger.  (Stay tuned for who…)

Hope is that by Saturday July 23rd, 2022 we may NOT have the COVID-19 mask requirement. The overall itinerary and guest list is in development, so folks are asked to ‘check back’ in Spring 2022.
