We're excited to announce an upcoming workshop centered around head wraps. The event will feature a 5-7 presentation delving into the rich history and cultural significance of head wraps, followed by a brief discussion. Afterward, there will be an opportunity for hands-on experience as participants can try on various head wrap styles.
While we'll be demonstrating a variety of wraps, we strongly encourage those with expertise to share their knowledge and teach their neighbors different wrapping styles, fostering a communal and bonding experience. Join us for an engaging exploration of head wraps, celebrating both tradition and creativity at the African Burial Ground!
