Description
As part of the Four Corners Lecture Series, Mesa Verde National Park is honored to host acclaimed artist Starr Tafoya for a pottery demonstration and sale.
Starr was born and raised in Santa Clara Pueblo where she learned to make traditional Santa Clara red and blackware pottery from her mother, Jane Baca.
She will demonstrate her creative process and then fire several pieces using traditional methods. Afterwards, she will have a number of finished pieces available for sale.
