St. Paul's historian Michael Grillo will make a presentation commemorating the 248th annniversaries of two important battles of the Revolutionary War.  The first was the Battle of Kips Bay, a decisive British invasion and victory on Manhattan's east side on Septemebr 15, 1776.  On the next day, September 16, at the Battle of Harlem Heights, the American army made an impressive stand against the British in an engagement fought near the present location of Grant's Tomb in upper Manhattan.  A 250 event.
