National Aviation Day Pop Up
Happy National Aviation Day! Franklin Delano Roosevelt designated National Aviation Day on August 19th, 1939, to honor Orville Wright’s birthday and acknowledge the impact Wilbur and Orville had on aviation. To celebrate this day, the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park is hosting pop-up interpretive programming at the Wright Dunbar Interpretive Center! Join us at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm for a short program on early flight. This will include: paper plane flying, anemometer testing, and rocket bottle launching.
