Pea Ridge National Military Park will conduct the program, “Privations and Suffering Endured”, at 10:45 a.m. in or around the Elkhorn Tavern (Tour Stop 8). How were the wounded treated during the Battle of Pea Ridge? What types of wounds were seen, and what surgical techniques were used? Come to this program to get answers to these questions and more. Please consider the 25-minute driving time from the park’s entrance to the tavern parking lot in your planning. Please continue to be weather-aware for the day of the program. All programs at the park are subject to change.
