OVTA 50th March: Gray's Chapel at Alexander's Ford

Join the Overmountain Victory Trail Association (OVTA) as they mark their 50th year of commemorating the journey to the 1780 Battle of Kings Mountain!

Bradley Nature Preserve at Alexander's Ford is a beautiful property in Polk County, North Carolina along the Green River where the Overmountain Men camped the night of October 5, 1780.

At 5:30pm, Ranger William of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail will be leading a 2-mile guided hike down to the banks of the Green River and back to Gray's Chapel located near the trailhead. 

At 7:00pm, Gray's Chapel will be hosting the OVTA for their special storytelling program.
