Description
September 28th is National Public Lands Day!
First Ladies National Historic Site is joining thousands of our neighbors across the country to celebrate public lands.
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The historic Saxton House will be open and FEE-FREE!
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be a history fair on the second floor of the visitor center. Learn from experts on topics like research libraries and preserving family photos.
There will also be the opportunity to become a digital transcriber for the National Archives! The first 10 volunteer transcribers will receive a National Parks Free Entrance Pass. Please bring a personal computer or tablet, if possible.
