Join rangers for an evening of stargazing!
Meet at the north entrance gate at exit #311 off Interstate 40. A ranger will meet you to let you into the park. Entrance at this time is for the Star Party only! It is not to explore the park. A park pass or a current entrance receipt must be obtained prior to the star party.
Star Party located at the Painted Desert Inn National Historic Landmark, two miles from the north entrance of the park. The overlook behind the inn is a wonderful place to watch the sunset (6:42pm). Please remember that you still need to leave the park at 7:00pm.
Star Party may be canceled due to inclement weather.
