Join a park ranger at Kernstown Battlefield. Learn how the Valley witnessed its bloodiest fighting throughout 1864, ending in October with the Federal victory at Cedar Creek.
Kernstown Battlefield Association, a nonprofit group, operates the historic battlefield. The battlefield is part of Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National Historic District.
