August 8: Make Your Own Fairy House

Julia Grant wrote about making fairy houses in her autobiography, and it's an activity that can be completed with a lot of found items: sticks, bark, dry grasses, pebbles, shells, feathers, seaweed, pinecones and nuts are just some of the materials you can use. A fairy house built in the woods will look different than one built at the beach. Make your own fairy house out of items we’ve collected and take it home to put in your garden!
